OVERVIEW

Drawing inspiration from the iconic “Rex” instruments that were once offered in popular mail-order catalogs during the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s, the Jim Dandy™ models embody the same charm and spirit of those early Gretsch® flat-top guitars.

Boasting exceptional playability and unparalleled tone, these parlor guitars are the perfect combination of vintage style and modern reliability. With a compact parlor body shape and a shorter 24“ scale length, the Jim Dandy™ Parlor delivers a distinctive tonal clarity and midrange richness that is beloved by musicians. Its X-braced body features select lightweight laminate tonewoods for a balanced and resonant vintage tone, while the “C”-shaped neck offers a comfortable and inviting feel that can inspire you for hours on end.
