HOT ! Foursquare Rum Distillery Penultimus｜ Other Products

Foursquare Penultimus is history in a bottle — the thirtieth and penultimate release in master distiller Richard Seale's legendary Exceptional Cask Selection series, one of the most celebrated ongoing releases in all of rum. This 15-year-old single blended rum is distilled in both Foursquare's copper double-retort pot still and continuous twin-column Coffey still, combining the best of both traditions in one extraordinary expression. A unique dual-maturation process sets Penultimus apart — one portion aged 10 years in ex-bourbon casks before spending an additional 5 years in rare Spanish Moscatel wine casks, while another component matures entirely in ex-bourbon barrels for the full 15 years. The nose opens bright and citrusy with caramelized orange peel, nougat, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice, rounding out with rich caramel and tropical hints of honeydew and kiwi, while the palate is full-bodied and oily with ripe pineapple, caramel, baking spice, and a gentle vinous sweetness from the Moscatel influence, finishing long with a lively wave of lemon sorbet. No added sugar. No coloring. No filtration. Buy Foursquare Penultimus online with fast shipping right to your door.
