Digital that doesn’t sound like digital. More like vinyl. Or a private concert.XACT S1 delivers on my vision of audiophile sound: natural, organic with analogue sophistication and lifelike imaging. It’s hard to believe it’s digital.
Now available in the “EVO” model for even higher sound quality.
Master OCXO Clock. The Master OCXO Clock in the XACT S1 EVO represents a significant upgrade in digital audio performance, drawing on advanced clock technology similar to that found in high-end audio clocking systems. This clock module is entirely developed in-house, emphasizing precision and stability, which are critical for achieving exceptional sound quality. The result is a digital audio playback that captures every nuance with remarkable clarity.
PHANTOM™ Music Drive Cable.By utilizing the same cutting-edge materials and precision construction techniques as our new PHANTOM™ USB and LAN cables, the PHANTOM™ Music Drive Cable minimizes signal interference and preserves the purity of the audio signal. This results in a listening experience that is not only more detailed and lifelike but also imbued with a richness and depth that brings music to life in the most natural and engaging way possible.
IMMOTUS™ mechanical isolation. The IMMOTUS™ ceramic-aluminium isolation footers, introduced in the XACT S1 EVO are the culmination of years of research and a deep passion for enhancing sound quality.
Internal vibrations generated by audio components can be more detrimental to sound quality than external ones. Standard feet made of soft damping materials often fail to address this issue. This understanding led us to develop IMMOTUS™ footers, designed to effectively channel these vibrations away.
IMMOTUS™ is more than just a component. By utilizing aerospace-grade aluminium and ceramics, we’ve engineered a product that not only enhances detail and resolution but also provides deeper and more precise bass.
It’s not just about a sleek, minimalist design; it’s about creating a tool that truly elevates the listening experience to a whole new level. Our goal was to craft isolators that not only look great but deliver incredible sonic value to our customers.
Designed and developed from square one. Fine-tuned by ear. Obsessively.
Not an another PC.A completely new device. Most streaming products available today are made with standard, ready-to-use mini-PC motherboards designed for office or home entertainment. However, these motherboards have noisy power converters that interfere with other hi-fi components and produce an irritating “digital” sound. Some companies try to mitigate the issue by upgrading their power supplies, but this doesn’t address the root cause. That’s why developing an entirely new motherboard from scratch with only audio playback in mind was the only way to go with XACT S1.
100% linear power delivery.Truly everywhere. It’s the first music server that puts so much emphasis on power quality ever. The motherboard itself has only linear regulators and runs solely on linear power. The dedicated power source is 100% linear without any switching components. XACT S1 delivers unmatched electrical performance. There’s nothing else like it.
Extensively ear-tested with every tweakHardware and software in harmony. The definition of synergy.Over more than 10 years of developing JPLAY, I’ve learned firsthandedly that the software has as much impact on the sound quality as the hardware platform itself. Through meticulous testing, I’ve explored all possible optimizations of the operating system and player’s code, ultimately identifying the most harmonious combination for the S1’s hardware.
Fine-tuned by ear with every minor change. For years.I’ve done extensive listening on S1 every time I tweaked something. Every minor change was tested and logged by me personally. Every hardware component, every OS update, every modification of settings.
