Charbay Vodka is the bottle that Tasting Table named the best popular American vodka you can buy — and once you understand the pedigree behind it, the accolade makes complete sense. Domaine Charbay was founded in 1983 atop Spring Mountain in California's Napa Valley by Miles Karakasevic — a 13th generation distiller who became America's first Grand Master Distiller in 2010 — long before craft distilling was fashionable or profitable. The vodka is made from 100% pure Midwest-grown corn and rye, distilled to 192 proof in a four-column still for maximum purity, then cut to 80 proof with crystal clear Northern California water using a proprietary water process. No charcoal, no diamond dust, no filter agents of any kind — a deliberate choice to retain the grain's natural character rather than strip it away. The result is a vodka with a silky, slightly oily mouthfeel and a plump grain body that cheaper vodkas try desperately to achieve by doping with sugar or glycerin. Wine Enthusiast awarded it 93 points, describing touches of almond sweetness and a faint citrusy note on the smooth finish. Tasting Table's taster called it bold yet incredibly smooth with hints of lemon zest, cream, and perfectly balanced grain flavors. Best on the rocks, amazing cold, and extraordinary in a Martini with a twist. Buy Charbay Vodka online with fast shipping right to your door.
