Vollrath 40756 Planetary Countertop Mixer

Vollrath's countertop mixers are designed specifically for small commercial mixing applications. This mixer is small enough to fit into any kitchen but is powerful enough for continuous use. The size provides a smaller footprint, which makes it easy to clean and relocate when necessary.

The Vollrath 40756 holds ten quarts and features a five-speed direct drive transmission with a digital control panel for easy shifts in speed while this unit is running. It has a 5 speed, 1/3 hp motor along with a few accessories. The speed can be changed to suit a multitude of mixing tasks. The accessories include a dough hook, a wire whisk, and a beater. This mixer can do anything from kneading dough to whisking light and fluffy creams. The bowl guard is specialized and will keep any contents from tangling up in the agitator while in operation. It includes a pour spout so you'll be able to add ingredients during operation.

The controls are easy to understand and simple to use. It has an off/on switch, with two sets of arrows. One pair of arrows control the speed and the other sets the timer which has a clear display. As soon as the 30-minute timer ends, the mixer will stop automatically.

Common Questions & Answers

What are the electrical requirements?
It has a voltage of 110-120, and uses a NEMA 5-15 plug.

Even though unit is standard duty, but can it still be used to mix pizza dough?
Yes, it can. However, this can only be done if the unit is set at a low speed. This is important because the motor will burn out if it is placed at a higher setting.
